The Finite Element Method (FEM) is typically used for the structural analysis of materials. It can be employed, for example, to identify areas in the material that are likely to break under strain. Thus, the method is an important tool in the production of materials in order to recognize quality problems early on and to be able to solve them before damage occurs.
Cyfex has turned the Finite Element Method into a product and has already integrated it into customer software. The method can be parameterized for any material.
