The dentist introduces the CEREC system intraoral camera directly into the mouth of patients and starts imaging.
During the imaging process, the individual images are correlated in real-time thanks to Cyfex AG technologies, among others, and represented as 3D point clouds on the screen. This visualization enables the dentist to recognize missing data and perform additions.

The imaging is converted into a 3D model and is available for the next work stages in the software. The models from the maxilla and mandible are registered through an additionally required occlusal image.
Thanks to this semi-automated workflow, the dentist obtains a digital image of the conditions in the patient’s mouth within seconds and can begin with the modeling of the restoration.

The virtual model can be adjusted according to the desires of the dentist using different work tools. These tools function interactively, such that the overall adjustments make their effects visible without delay.

On conclusion of the digital care of patients, the restorations constructed in the software can be milled from a ceramic block using a grinder.
